"Mouse" earned his name along with a medal for Tiniest Ears in the Barn. After arriving at Akindale in 2021 with an old knee chip, Mouse was lightly restarted before being given some time to grow up in the Sanctuary. We decided to give him another go this spring and we're glad we did! Mouse is full of personality; he loves to be around people and spends most of his time staring across the fence at our herd of mares. Who could blame him? Mouse has been restarted under saddle and would make a great project for an experienced rider. He has some quirks and needs someone who can softly say, "No Mouse, let's do it this way." Due to his previous knee injury, Mouse may be most suitable for a low-level career. He loves to hack out with friends and is quite content in a bitless bridle.
