“Donna” is as sweet as they come! After retiring from racing with a bowed tendon in August 2023, Donna came to Akindale for some love and rehab. She has progressed from stall rest to group turnout and will be re-evaluated this Spring to see when she will be ready to start working.

Donna is easy to handle on the ground, cross-ties, and loves to be groomed. She is currently barefoot and enjoying her rehab with her friends outside. Donna will need an experienced hand to work with her; she’s a young mare with lots of energy! Donna will have no limitations in a future career once her rehab has been completed.
