ABOUT: Cami Rachelle came to Akindale in 2023 through Beyond the Wire after retiring sound from her racing career. With no known physical limitations, Cami has plenty of potential for a second career, but through no fault of her own, she has yet to be restarted under saddle.

Instead, Cami has spent the last couple of years enjoying life in our sanctuary, where she has had the opportunity to let down from the track, mature into her body, and simply enjoy being a horse. During that time, she has developed into a lovely mare who enjoys attention and is quiet and easy to handle on the ground.

We believe Cami would make a wonderful project for an amateur rider looking for a horse to bring along at their own pace. With her quiet ground manners and a fresh start ahead of her, she offers someone the opportunity to develop a partnership from the beginning.

Cami's only real quirk is that she is a cribber, but we certainly don't think that should overshadow everything she has to offer!
