ABOUT: Forever My Friend came to Akindale in 2010, and we think he has one of the best names in the herd!

He has been part of the Akindale family for many years and has enjoyed a much quieter life here after his racing career. Over the years, he has become a familiar and much-loved face around the sanctuary.

There is something pretty special about a horse who has been with us for so long. Forever My Friend has had a permanent place here for many years, surrounded by his herd and the people who care for him.

Today, he is enjoying his retirement and all the simple things that come with sanctuary life. And with a name like Forever My Friend, we think he found exactly the right place to call home.

Forever My Friend will always have a friend at Akindale and a home here forever.
