ABOUT: Hello My Lady came to Akindale in late 2024 after her previous owner's property was sold and she needed a new place to call home. We're happy she found her way to us and could settle into life at the sanctuary!

Hello My Lady is a sweet older mare who enjoys the quieter side of life. These days, she gets to spend her time doing what horses do best: enjoying the fields, spending time with her herd, and taking life at her own pace.

One of her favorite parts of sanctuary life is having her best friend, Strategic Missile, by her side! The two share a special bond and are often found enjoying each other's company. It's always lovely to see the friendships that develop between our horses, especially those who have spent years navigating different chapters of life together.

At Akindale, we believe our horses deserve a safe and comfortable home for the rest of their lives, where they can enjoy companionship, excellent care, and the freedom to simply be horses. Hello My Lady is a wonderful reminder of why our sanctuary program is so important. Not every horse needs a new career or a job to do; sometimes, all they need is a soft place to land and a friend to share it with.
