Full of personality, Hopeful Boy is always the first to greet you when you enter the field. Whether he's hoping for a little attention or checking to see if you brought something tasty, he makes sure you know he's there. And when it comes to mealtime, you can bet he'll be the first one in line! This boy has never been one to miss a meal.

Hopeful Boy is truly Mr. Personality, with a larger-than-life presence that makes him impossible not to love. His outgoing nature and enthusiasm for just about everything have made him a favorite among those who know him.

Today, Hopeful Boy continues to enjoy his retirement surrounded by his herd, plenty of green pastures, and, of course, his favorite part of the day: dinner! After so many years at Akindale, he is a wonderful reminder of the lifelong commitment we make to the horses in our care.
