ABOUT: In Between Time is a 2003 Thoroughbred mare who was bred right here at Akindale Farm. As one of our homebred horses, she holds a special place in Akindale's history and represents the lifelong commitment we have made to the horses who call this farm home.

Now in her senior years, In Between Time enjoys a well-deserved retirement in our sanctuary, where she can spend her days grazing, enjoying the company of her herd, and simply being a horse. Having a safe place to grow old is something we believe every Thoroughbred deserves, and we are proud to provide that for her.

In Between Time is a wonderful reminder of what sanctuary is all about. For some horses, Akindale is where their story begins, and for others, it is where they find their second chance. For In Between Time, it is a home for life.
