ABOUT: Keeps Gettinbetter, affectionately known as KGB, was born right here at Akindale in 2008. As one of our homebreds, KGB has been part of Akindale's story from the very beginning.

In 2012 and 2013, KGB was part of our retraining program, where he showed off his adorable movement and potential for a second career. Due to a previous injury, he was limited to flatwork, but he was quite the cute mover!

While we're not entirely sure what led to KGB's permanent retirement, he has certainly made himself at home in our sanctuary. Over the years, he has fully embraced herd life and developed quite the personality.

KGB is a quirky guy who likes to keep everyone on their toes. One of his favorite games is playing hard to catch whenever he spots someone approaching with a halter. He seems to think it's great entertainment, although our staff might disagree!

These days, KGB is perfectly content enjoying life with his herd, where he has plenty of room to roam, friends to play with, and the freedom to be his quirky self.
