ABOUT: L.C. Chopard came to Akindale in 2016 when her previous owner made the decision to close down their farm. Having spent part of her life as a broodmare and raising a few foals of her own, L.C. Chopard was ready for a new chapter. Thankfully, that chapter brought her to Akindale, where she has called home ever since.

One thing that makes L.C. Chopard impossible to miss is her beautiful, oversized star! She has one of the biggest stars on the farm, making her easy to spot among the herd. It's a marking that makes her instantly recognizable and gives her a look all her own.

Since arriving at Akindale, L.C. Chopard has settled into sanctuary life, enjoying the freedom of our pastures and the companionship of her herd. After spending part of her life raising babies, she now gets to enjoy her retirement with no responsibilities other than simply being a horse.

We're happy that her journey brought her to us and that we can provide her with a safe, permanent home for the rest of her life.
