ABOUT: Tipsy Tourist is a super sweet mare with an adorable personality and the cutest looks to match! She came to Akindale through the Beyond the Wire program after retiring from racing with a left front osselet, which is not expected to cause her any significant issues. She also cribs, but that has never bothered us here at Akindale.
A fun little fact about Tipsy is that she actually raced against fellow Akindale resident Cami Rachelle at Laurel Park in July 2023! Who would have thought these two mares would eventually end up enjoying retirement at the same farm?
Tipsy is a lovely mare who we believe could have a future in a second career. Unfortunately, due to not having a trainer, she has not yet been restarted under saddle and has spent her time enjoying life in our sanctuary instead.
For now, Tipsy is perfectly content spending her days out in the fields with her friends, enjoying the simple pleasures of being a horse. She has a wonderful disposition and is certainly one of those mares who is easy to love.
